The CSI held talks with representatives of the Ukraine Institute for Analyses in Education

On Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, the Deputy Chief School Inspector Ondrej Andrys hosted a delegation of representatives from the Institute for Analyses in Education of the Ukraine Republic, headed by the institute’s director Oksana Denysiuk. Main topics of the meeting were presentations of findings and experience of the Czech School Inspectorate from international surveys. In more detail the debate was about pupils’ outcomes from PISA, PIRLS, TIMSS, ICILS and TALIS and the role of these surveys in the framework of complex depiction of quality and effectivity in education. Furthermore, the aim of the meeting was to discuss analyses of information concerning education, including Czech Inspectorate’s supportive information systems for collection and analyses of inspection data (InspIS).
 
The Ukraine delegation visited the Czech Republic in the framework of a project conducted by the Association for International Topics, with support of the Czech Development Agency.
